Cash
Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium), ,Hello . . . my name is Cash! I'm a 1-year-old terrier blend, I'm not a big guy, I only weigh 35 lbs. I am a smart and lovable boy looking for the right home to call my FURever home. I'm an expert snuggler and I ADORE people. AND, get this . . . A kind anonymous donor has sponsored my adoption donation because they wanted to set me up for success! If given a chance, I would make you the happiest of happy!
General Behavior: Cash also known as Cashy is an energetic, happy pup who is an affectionate and playful pooch - he doesn't just wag his tail, he wags his whole body! He is a social butterfly and loves to be around people. He will offer kisses, crawl in your lap, and truly wants to be your everything!
Likes & Dislikes: Cashy loves his toys and rates couch cuddling high on his list. He loves taking short walks to do his business and meet new friends. This velcro pup wants to be with his person, so a patient and understanding adopter will need to continue working with him so he can gain confidence.
Training: Cashy is housebroken when kept on a regular schedule, he'll do his business outside, and maybe a few zoomies too. He is still learning basic manners and showing tremendous with his leashed walks. He is food-motivated which lends itself to easier positive reinforcement training and he's a super smart fella who's eager to please so that helps too!
Medical: Cash takes daily joint supplements (as many large pups should for preventative measures). Additionally, he simply requires his monthly heartworm and flea prevention, like any dog. He's overall a very healthy boy!
Other Animals: He is still young and learning how to introduce himself like a gentleman to other dogs. Cashy loved the company of other playful, friendly dogs, but he had a bad experience with a pooch that wasn't a fan of his energy and the other dog attacked him. Since this event, he's been cautious of other dogs and is on the defense, to err on the side of caution and comfort, we feel he should be the only pooch in the home, at least for now. He needs to gain confidence and with slow, positive introductions in the future, *hopefully* he'll get comfortable and accept a playful friend again one day. For now, he needs time to decompress and relax in a foster home or an adoptive home before he's introduced to other dogs and when that time comes, it must be done slowly and carefully. He has not been introduced to cats, but due to his energy, we do not feel a home with cats would be ideal.
Children: A home with no small children would be best for him. At times his excitement gets the best of him and we wouldn't want a young child to get knocked over.
Home: His ideal home is one where his person is home often. He cries when initially left alone, therefore a single-family home is required. He sleeps well at night, likely dreaming about playing, snuggling, and watching TV with you. He also relaxes in style with his extensive pajama collection.
Grooming: With his short hair, he is a low-maintenance fella and will just require routine baths and nail trims.
Overall: If you are looking for a squishable, lovable pooch that truly wants to be YOUR everything, Cash is the one for you. Once you meet this fella, you may find it hard to resist him.
Are you the one for Cash? Please visit our website, www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with his foster family if it’s a potential match. He is fully vaccinated, neutered, and microchipped. His adoption donation is $300 and will be COVERED IN FULL BY AN ANONYMOUS DONOR who wants to help set this beautiful boy up for success!

Terriers (Medium), ,Hi, my name is Coquito! I’m a six-year-old female terrier blend and I weigh 12 pounds. I am smart and curious and always ready for a cuddle. I’m looking for a loving family that will help me feel safe and is ready to teach me new things.
General Behavior: Coquito is a sweet pup who is happiest when she is with her people. She has some anxiety separation when away from them and also when meeting new people. But when her humans return home, Coquito is so excited to see them, she bounces up and down on her two hind legs.
Likes & Dislikes: Coquito enjoys naps in soft places and being close to her humans. She is developing an appreciation for toys and will run and play with soft toys more each day. She is also interested in chewing small Nylabones. She loves the outdoors but does not like car rides.
Training: Coquito is learning basic manners and walks well on a leash. She’s food-motivated which makes training a breeze. She is house-trained in her foster home and will continue to do well if let out on a regular basis.
Medical: Coquito will need her monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventive medicine.
Other Animals: Coquito will be happiest as an only dog as she has some anxiety around other dogs as well as cats.
Children: Given her small size, Coquito needs a home with older children.
Home: Coquito requires a single-family home where she has less exposure to people outside her own family. She can be left alone in the home for several hours in a secure place.
Grooming: This pretty little girl will just need regular baths and brushing to help her look and feel her best.
Overall: Coquito is a sweet and affectionate pup who is easy going and happy in an environment that provides security and a routine. She will need a patient family to continue her training and give lots of cuddles. In return, she will give back buckets of love, enthusiasm, and loyalty!
Are you the one for Coquito? Please visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. She is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption donation is $350.
show lessEvie
Chihuahua, ,Hi, I’m Evie, a 4-year-old Chihuahua blend who weighs 15 lbs. It may take a minute for you to win my heart, but once you do, I will always save a seat for you on the couch, always greet you at the door with 1000 enthusiastic tail wags, and give you all my love.
General Behavior: Evie is very cautious and distrustful of strangers at first and she will need a day or more to get comfortable with new people, pets, etc. Once she has decided that you are her people, however, she is a velcro dog who will follow you around the house. She is very snuggly and affectionate and requires a lot of attention.
Likes & Dislikes: Evie doesn't care much for toys or even food. (She needs gentle encouragement when eating her meals: holding the bowl up for her, positive affirmations, etc.) She just wants lots of snuggles and cuddles with her people. In terms of dislikes, she does not like her front paws touched, and does not like having her harness touched too much.
Training: Evie is a little lady! She is housetrained if let out regularly, she walks well on leash, she sleeps in a dog bed at night, and she is well-behaved on car rides. She just needs a watchful eye because she can become overexcited, when playing, etc. She likes to climb furniture (dining chairs, tables, etc.) and investigate things. She needs a watchful eye for these habits.
Medical: Evie is a healthy girl! She just needs her monthly flea and heartworm preventatives, like any dog.
Other Animals: Evie does well with other small dogs but seems to fear larger dogs. She hasn't been observed around cats yet but her foster does NOT think they would be a good fit for this shy sweetheart.
Children: Evie has not been observed around children yet.
Home: Evie does not like to be left alone, so she'd love a home where someone is around more often than not. Other than that, she'd be good in a condo, apartment, or single-family home.
Grooming: Evie has a longer coat, so she'll probably need brushing and professional grooming.
Overall: Evie will make a wonderful companion for someone who can handle a lot of kisses and snuggles.
Could you love Evie evermore? Please visit our website www.PoodleandPoochRescue.org where you will find the application to adopt. You’ll be put in contact with the foster family for more information if it’s a potential match. Bella is up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative, microchipped, and spayed. Her adoption donation is $400.
