POODLE AND POOCH RESCUE is an organization that saves dogs that truly need help. We rescue the “leftovers” from animal control, the dogs nobody wants because they’re older or suffer from neglect, abuse or have a medical need. Their “last” day becomes the first day of their new life.

The Best I’ve Encountered

This rescue agency is one of the best I’ve encountered. Two senior dogs that were found at the edge of the woods were in one of the worst conditions I have ever witnessed. This rescue was the only one in the area that agreed to take them in, provided excellent health care and foster care

I Would Highly Recommend This Rescue To Anybody!

I would highly recommend this rescue to anybody!
I filled out an application online and once I was approved, I was put in contact with the foster mom of a particular dog I was looking at. She was very knowledgeable as well as personable. It was easy to talk to her and she offered any and all information she had on this pup including sending me short clips of him interacting with her dogs.
It was a great experience and even though we did not adopt from here, I will not hesitate to reach out to them if we are ready to adopt again.

A Trusted Rescue That Really Goes Above And Beyond

Where do I begin. I saw this puppy’s story on Twitter, saw a video of him and immediately gravitated towards his special personality. People may say he’s the lucky one getting saved and brought into a family that loves and cares for him dearly, but I know for sure I’m the lucky one that gets to call him my son. Archie, formerly known as Gruff is a sweet soul and courageous terrier. He made it through a difficult time and is now happy at home with 2 brothers that love to play with him and a mother that will do anything to give him live the best life.

Poodle and Pouch Rescue has felt like an extended family through the whole process of fostering Archie. They were there in making sure he got all the medical attention needed and made the fostering and now adoption process easy to get through. They are a trusted rescue that really goes above and beyond the care of the most vulnerable.

I could go on for longer in talking about my experience for the past 2 months but all else I can say for now is that I am truly grateful for their support and believing in me that I could give Archie the best life possible.

Rebecca saved pregnant Lizzy from a kill shelter in GA, she gave birth to an amazing litter of puppies on the way home! We we’re lucky enough to take 2 of these adorable pups home yesterday, thank you for bringing Barley & Hops into our lives!!!! 💞💖♥️💞🐕🐕

We adopted the sweetest little girl, Daisy, from them. Not only did Maria drive 2 hours to come see us to see if Daisy would be a good fit, but we was patient and answered all of my questions. 5/5 stars for this organization for doing amazing work and helping these fantastic dogs!
