Kristi and her beautiful daughters have been volunteering with PPR since 2014. Kristi has a soft spot for our pets in need and has the help of her daughters, Sasha and Eliana, who have followed in their mom’s footsteps. Kristi works with our events team, setting up at various adoption events and raising awareness, she also assists on our social media team and she and her family foster dogs from time to time too.
“I love to help and I will do whatever I can’t say “No” to – ha, ha! I have 3 rescue dogs: Chloe, Gracie and Emma and they love to give me a sniff down when I come home from events. My favorite part of volunteering with PPR are the dogs (of course!) and working with the other volunteers. I also love talking about rescue to whoever will listen. I am a former elementary school teacher and miss being in the classroom, so I like to get my former students and friend’s kids involved. Rescue work fills my heart.” – Kristi K
