Christina

Christina joined Poodle and Pooch in 2025, originally planning to help behind the scenes, but within days she was transporting dogs, joining the internal team that orders prescription medications and food for our dogs, and soon after fostered her first dog. She became a “foster fail” in the best way and welcomed Cali into her family.

Christina is currently pursuing her graduate degree in Nonprofit Management and is already using her skills to strengthen PPR’s operations. With her eye for detail, creativity, and strong organizational skills, she has implemented a new foster onboarding process that is helping volunteers feel more connected and supported from the start. Inspired by her soul dog, Princeton, Christina is passionate about ensuring every dog experiences love, comfort, and a place to call home.

“My favorite part of volunteering is knowing that even the smallest thing can completely change a dog’s life. I started in rescue because of my soul dog, Princeton, and even though he passed in 2024, he’s still the reason I do this. I want every dog to feel the love he had. Being part of that journey is something really special. ‘Be who your dog thinks you are.’ ” – Christina
