Alison started volunteering as a foster with us in 2019. She and her husband adopted Sam the senior (16 years old and going strong!) in 2021, and shortly after that Alison added to her volunteer duties and started compiling brief bios of adoptable dogs for the website. When asking Alison why she likes volunteering with PPR, she said: ” When you volunteer with PPR, you get the honor of helping some wonderful dogs who might otherwise be overlooked because of their age or medical conditions. Each and every one of our foster dogs has been a joy. And when you rescue dogs, you are not just helping the dogs: you are vastly improving the lives of all the humans who will love them, too!”
