Hi! I’m Little Dude, an 11-year-old Maltese-Poodle mix with a very big heart! When I came to Poodle and Pooch Rescue, I was tiny, underweight, anemic, and dealing with painful feet, severe dental disease, arthritis, and a heart murmur. Since then, I’ve been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect, severe pulmonary hypertension, arthritis, and megaesophagus, which means I need lots of special care.
Thankfully, my forever foster parents, Orlando and Diana, never blinked when they learned about my medical challenges. They give me my medications, special meals, injections, and all the love and patience a little guy could ever want. They even learned how to give my treatments at home so I could stay comfortable and happy.
My body may be complicated, but my heart is simple – I absolutely adore my family. Thank you, Orlando and Diana, for loving me exactly as I am.
