Alfie is a sweet senior Schnauzer who finally got a second chance after spending years living in a shed with very little human interaction. When he arrived at Poodle and Pooch Rescue, he was covered in painful mats and suffering from infections, parasites, severe dental disease, and painful eyes and ears. Thankfully, lots of kind people helped him begin his journey to healing.
His forever foster mom, Irene, has been there for him every step of the way. She gives him daily medications, special food, eye drops, and all the patience and love he could ever need. He’s had dental surgeries, treatment for his skin and liver issues, and lifelong care for his dry eyes. Even though he’s a little older and needs some extra care, he’s a very sweet boy who loves feeling safe, comfortable, and loved.
