Dawn, a PPR volunteer, agreed to foster Vera, who was suffering with several medical issues. Dawn has been by Vera’s side, nursing her back to health after various surgeries and treatments. Through it all, she found herself falling in love, a feeling fully reciprocated by Vera. Even before Vera was medically cleared, Dawn had already committed to adopting her. Dawn is the epitome of a great dog mom and is fully devoted to her pack of pooches, which includes Gabby, Molly, and now Vera, who is newly named Roxy. There’s nothing Dawn won’t do for her pack. She regularly cooks them homemade meals and does water therapy with them in the pool. Life is good for these three lucky canines who have hit the jackpot when it comes to their Mom.
