Topaz was a senior stray that was picked up by the local animal control agency. She’s a senior Shih-tzu mix, and was in terrible shape: she was matted, had scabs down the length of her back from crawling under fences, irritated and dry eyes and very infected ears. She was also loaded with parasites, but fortunately was heartworm negatie. PPR took her in, attended to all of her medical needs and placed her into foster care for some much needed TLC. Soon, her fortunes changed, and now she has a wonderful new home with Shelby. Now Topaz has a warm, secure home where all of her needs are met, and even has a new fur sibling. Life is good for the sweet, Topaz!
