Tennessee is a Dachshund/Beagle mix that was picked up as a stray in a rural Florida town. He’s a young boy, so luckily he was relatively healthy and mercifully tested negative for heartworms when PPR took him into its care. After his initial intake he was placed into foster care to learn how to be in a home again. Tennessee can be shy at first, but once he feels comfortable is a very sweet boy…so sweet that his foster family absolutely fell in love with him and decided to adopt him! They love taking him on walks with his new fur brother, who is his new best buddy. Tennessee still has some training to do and his brother is helping him learn how to be a dog. All Tennessee wanted was a family to love him, and that is exactly what he found. Welcome home, Tennessee!
