Sunny is a 3 year old Labradoodle that had been bought as Christmas present by a family that did not consider themselves to be dog people. Labradoodles are very cute and sweet but they are also high energy and require lots of attention (and training) to become good citizens. The poor boy wore was left outside wearing a shock collar; the young boy was so lonely he braved the shock to visit regularly with his neighbors. A concerned neighbor was acquainted with one of our PPR volunteers and asked if PPR could intervene; ultimately/fortunately, the owner agreed to surrender him into PPR care. Sunny won’t be lonely or neglected anymore, he has a new forever home! Adopters Laurie and David were looking for a companion for their 100lb Great Pyrenees Doodle mix, Klyde; the two dogs met, started playing and quickly become the best of friends . Sunny now has a large wood fenced yard to romp in and a pool to swim in (his new favorite pastime) with his new buddy. Welcome home, Sunny!
