Smidge was picked up as a stray from a South Florida animal shelter with one eye hanging from its socket. The shelter removed the eye, and soon after Smidge was placed into PPR’s care. Fortunately, other than the eye issue he was in relatively good health and was soon placed in foster care. Smidge’s new parents, Paige and Ernest, had just moved into a new home with their kitty, Baymax, but felt that their home wasn’t complete. Their solution? Adopt a dog in need! Smidge now has this wonderful family to call his own. Smidge now has a fenced yard to play in, and when Paige and Ernest get home from work, they go for walks around the neighborhood. Life couldn’t get any better than this!
