Rover came to PPR from a high-kill shelter in rural Georgia; he was obese and heartworm positive, and needed a little work on his manners. PPR’s vets treated his heartworms, put him on a diet, and his foster parents worked tirelessly to make Rover a good canine citizen. Adopters Dorrett, Leila and Ronald have welcomed Rover into their family with open and caring arms. Rover now has a wonderful yard to play and stretch in, and, a wonderful neighborhood to go for walks with his new forever family. From the first time this family met Rover, all participants knew it was a good match.
