Pearl has found her forever home with Rita of Cocoa. Pearl has come a long way since being found on the streets! She was skin and bone, but after a high calorie diet she regained her weight. She was so frightened that she would nip at people and would not allow anyone to touch her. Her arthritis affected her walking, and she had a very awkward gait. Coupled with poor hearing and eyesight she was a pretty unhappy old lady! While in her foster home she fell in love with Cooper, a border collie mix. She’s with him all the time and he’s helping her regain trust in people. Rita knew she was home, and she has brought so much joy to her new family! Welcome Home, Pearl!
