Senior Pekingese boy Peanut surrendered at a local animal shelter when his previous owners lost their home. He was in relatively good medical condition other than a rotten mouth and a slight heart murmur, so they reached out to PPR for assistance. PPR attended to all of his medical needs and placed him with a foster to prepare for his new adventure. Adopters Heather and Lance saw his picture and were smitten; they met Peanut and were in love. Heather and Lance welcomed Peanut into their home and family with open arms and lots of love! They are home more often than not, so he gets all of their attention all of the time, which makes Peanut a very happy boy!
