Maya was surrendered by her previous owner because she could no longer afford Maya’s care. PPR took Maya into care, attended to her medical needs, gave her a dental and placed into foster care. While in foster care, Maya’s foster noted she had a slight limp; upon further examination it was determined she had a torn ACL. PPR, of course, addressed that issue as well. Eventually, Maya was cleared for adoption, and she caught the attention of Alice Sue. The two met, and rest is history. So now, Maya has a safe home where all of her needs are attended to and a Mommy that loves her madly.
