Maxx came to PPR because his owners could no longer care for his medical needs. Lucky for him, he landed with foster Jacky and her family. Jacky worked closely with PPR’s veterinary team to restore him to good health. After all of her efforts, Jacky and her family decided Maxx wasn’t going to go anywhere – he was already home. The rescue community often refers to these events as “foster fails,” but nothing could be further from the truth; for Maxx, this is the ultimate win.
