Max is senior Dachshund/Poodle mix that was surrendered into PPR care when his owner could no longer care for him. Upon intake he was severely matted, his vaccines were not current, he had not been neutered and needed a dental, but nonetheless he was an incredibly sweet and spunky guy that got along well with people and other animals. PPRs vetting team saw attended to all of his medical needs and soon placed him into foster to await his forever home. Adopter Bob had raised bulldogs many years before moving to Florida. He had been without a dog for 6 years and felt the time was right to look for a canine companion. He saw Max and knew that they would be great together. Max will be living in The Villages, where he will meet lots of new friends on his daily walks with Bob. Welcome home, Max!
