The same day that PPR listed Luna for adoption they received the perfect application for her. Adopters Chris and Sarah have been “life-long dog owners and lovers.” Luna caught their eye and they set up a meet and greet. Chris and Sarah found Luna to be friendly and beautiful, they were not the least bit discouraged by her allergy issues. With a full day ahead of them, the parties agreed to meet the following day to finalize the adoption. It turned out to be the best decision because when Luna saw Chris again she greeted him like an old friend. Chris was so taken with Luna, he stated, “I need her as much as she needs me.” Luna eagerly jumped into the backseat of his car, ready for her new life. Soon thereafter, another surprise awaited Luna – a new sister – a 3-month-old Collie pup named Lucy. The two are “the best of friends” and inseparable. Luna is filled with joy now that she has found her forever home with two devoted parents and a little sister who is always by her side.
