LT came to PPRs attention via a plea from help from a volunteer at a local animal shelter. The volunteer noted that he was incredibly sweet but had lots tumors and was a bully breed; thus, his chances of leaving the shelter were slim. PPR took him and verified that, yes, indeed he has a great personality and has several masses. After removing several of his growths, PPR made the decision to designate him as a Permanent Resident. LT will stay with his foster family and continue to take care of all of his medical needs. Permanent Resident foster families are a rare and special breed. These foster families open their homes and their hearts to a dog that may not be around for years to come. They know that heartache lies ahead, and yet they say, “…well, let’s make every day count until that day comes.”
