Lord Farquaad has found his fur-ever home with the Grant family of The Villages. The family lost their Shih Tzu of 18 years back in May and have missed the energy and companionship of having a dog in their lives. Their son saw Lord Farquaad on our website, picked him out for them and paid the adoption fee as a gift to his mom, who has fallen head over heels for him. They plan to take him on daily walks and have several dog parks nearby where he can make friends. They also plan to bring Lord Farquaad (renamed Rocky) with them on golf cart rides as soon as his doggie cart seat arrives. Lord Farquaad will be living his best life and be very loved.
