Lilo is a Chihuahua mix that was surrendered to a local shelter because his owner had become homeless. He is a little timid a first, but once he relaxes he’s a very sweet little boy. Upon intake PPR’s veterinary partners estimated his age to be about 7 years and his weight to be 11 lbs – very underweight. The veterinary team decided to place him into foster care to give him time to put on some weight before performing his surgical procedures. After his procedures were done, he was cleared to be listed for adoption. His new Mom is a very experienced dog owner. She at one time had three dogs, and one by one they passed away – the last one only a few months ago. She is retired and so very happy to have Lilo to keep her company. Lilo has a fenced backyard and all of hims Mom’s attention – livin’ the good life! Welcome home, Lilo!
