Adopters Mary Lou and Dan have had dogs most of their lives, and for the past 40 years they have mainly had standard poodles. Sadly, their last beloved poodle crossed the rainbow bridge in 2021. They recently settled into a new home and realized how much they missed the special companionship and joy that only a dog can bring; thus, they set out to find a dog to adopt. Enter Leon, a handsome standard poodle who wanted nothing more than his very own family to love. The initial meet and greet with Mary Lou and Dan went very well, but Leon also needed the approval of the couple’s daughter Katie, and her dog Boiler and cat Duchess. Leon has settled in nicely with his new family. He likes to curl up in bed with his parents at night. He and Boiler enjoy exploring together and then hitting the couch for siestas. Life is definitely good. Welcome home, LEON!
