Lara was found roaming the streets of Guadalajara, limping from an old injury. PPR’s Mexican rescue partners saved her from what would likely have been a very difficult life and an uncertain and ultimately placed into care with PPR. Adopters Joan & Greg are avid dog lovers who have always felt that their pets “added a great deal of meaning to our lives.” After grieving the loss of their beloved senior pooch, they once again wanted to open their hearts and home to a new rescue. Upon meeting Lara, she won them over with kisses and adoring looks from her gorgeous puppy dog eyes. Lara is happy to be safely home with a family to call her very own. Welcome home, Lara!
