Kelsie was bred to be a hunter’s dog; to her breeder’s dismay, she wasn’t very interested in hunting and intended to put her down. She had lived outside all her life so was unsocialized, but she was good around all dogs and humans. PPR stepped in, rescued her from the situation, brought her vetting up to date and placed her into foster care, where she could learn how to be a pet. Adopters Emily and Ryan already were looking for a companion for their dog, Timber. Additionally, Emily is an avid runner and she was looking for a dog that could join her on her daily runs. Kelsie fit the criteria beautifully. Now she has a fur brother, gets to go on daily runs and frequent trips to the local dog park…a true happy ending!
