Joey is home!

This 11-pound Chihuahua/terrier mix might not be big in size, but he certainly is in spirit.  As a stray he was hit by a car and suffered broken bones.  But with this bad luck also came some good fortune: Joey was rescued and placed with a compassionate foster family and, with their superb nursing and his own determination, made a full recovery.  Foster mom Jeanine and her two sons, Emmett and Stanton, could not bear the thought of life without Joey, so they conferred upon him the thing he wanted most – a forever home.  This is the 3rd PPR foster fail for this amazing family!  Now that he is part of this dedicated and devoted crew, Joey’s future is radiant, illuminated by love and joy!
