Helen is a puppy that was surrendered by her owners when they discovered she had a hearing impairment; her owners both worked fulltime and soon realized they did not have the time to care for her properly. They were under the impression she was an English Setter, but PPR’s vet team thought she looked to be a Dalmatian mix. Helen’s hearing impairment did not deter her new family at all. Besides having a new home, she has a new name, Elsa, which is the name of ner new owners’ 4 year-old daughter’s favorite Disney princess!!! When Elsa arrived at the family’s home she smothered the little girl with kisses like she knew right away that she was where she belonged. Dad is retired Army, so he will be home all day with Elsa and give her lots of attention. Both Mom and Dad are excited to see their little girl and Elsa grow up to be the best of friends! (Side note: Elsa’s family was curious as to her breed mix so they had a DNA test run – she is a Pointer and Llewellin Setter mix).
