Gracie is a tiny Chihuahua mix that was surrendered to PPR care when her owner was diagnosed with cancer and could no longer care for her properly. Her owner commented that she is very sweet and loving, loves all animals, and loves snuggle under blankets. At intake PPR’s veterinary partners estimated Gracie to be about 6 years old and weighed in at 6 lbs. She was covered in fleas, needed to be spayed and to have a dental procedure but was otherwise pretty healthy. PPR’s team addressed all of her medical issues and then placed her into foster care to wait for her new forever home. Gracie’s new Mom is a co-worker of her foster Mom. When Gracie first met her new family they hit it off right away. Gracie now has 2 new 12 year old (human) brothers to play with and a Dad who works from home all day. The boys have not had a dog before and are so very happy with their new best friend. Welcome home, Gracie!
