Elsa’s early days were not the best: she was a backyard breeder’s dog that had little or no positive human interaction and veterinary care. When she was taken into PPR care she had (unfortunately) all of the conditions we have learned to expect from a breeder’s dog: heartworm positive, loaded with parasites and worms, ear and skin infections and a severely neglected mouth. Needless to say she also was not spayed. Those days are behind her. PPR saw to all of her medical needs and now she safely and comfortably at home with adopters Anthony and Cheryl. Sweet Elsa is no longer simply an asset, she is a treasured family member that will be showered with love and affection…all of the wonderful things a sweet girl like Elsa deserves.
