Dusty Leigh was surrendered to PPR by her owner who could no longer physically or financially care for her properly. She is a 9 year old Cairn Terrier mix that is a little shy at first but becomes a total sweetheart when she feels comfortable. Adopter Susan and her husband had lost their dog about a year ago and felt the time right to open their heart and home to another canine companion. They saw Dusty Leigh’s picture and read her profile on the PPR website and felt there was just something about her that appealed to them; they made the decision to reach out to PPR – and they are so glad they did! They met Dusty Leigh and immediately knew she was the “one” to complete their family. Besides having a new home and family, Dusty Leigh also has a new name…she is now known as Annie. Welcome home, Dusty Leigh/Annie!
