Darla is a Catahoula/Terrier mix that came into PPR care via a local animal shelter. At intake she was estimated to be only 8 months and was slightly underweight; she needed to be spayed but that would weight until she gained a little weight. PPR’s vetting partners got her vaccine schedule on track, created a treatment plan placed her into foster care. Darla’s foster family was considering adopting a puppy, but were not sure they were ready. They decided to try fostering, were assigned Darla and immediately felt like they hit the jackpot! Darla immediately felt the like the perfect addition to their brood and quickly made the decision that their home would be her forever home. Darla has lots of energy and her family has three kids – a perfect match! Welcome home, Darla!
