Darby came to PPR’s attention after a Good Samaritan dropped her off at a local animal hospital. She was aged at 11 years, and had obviously not been looked after properly for quite some time. PPR’s vets addressed her medical issues and brought her vetting up to date. Adopters Vicki and James had decided they were finally ready to adopt a new pup after the loss of their beloved dog after 17 years. They saw Darby’s listing and instinctively knew she would make their family whole again. The retired couple is looking forward to enjoying life with Darby, including frequent walks around the neighborhood.
