Clyde is a very sweet, 12 year old Shih-Tzu mix that came into PPR care by way of a local animal shelter. The senior guy was underweight and intact; he was also anemic, had some arthritis and was in desperate need of a dental. PPR’s veterinary team developed and started a treatment plan and placed him into foster care. Once Clyde was feeling better and ready, he was placed for adoption…it didn’t take long for someone to fall in love. Clyde’s new Dad, Edward, was initially drawn to Clyde because he looked so much like his beloved ‘Buddy’ who had passed away. Once the two of them met, Clyde’s sweet and gentle nature seemed perfect to Edward. Clyde will now be a ‘snow dog,’ spending his Summers in Massachusetts and then come back to Florida for the Winter before the New England chill can aggravate his arthritis. Welcome home, Clyde!
