Cleopatra is a 5 year old Pug mix who was dumped outside after her owner passed away. A neighbor took her in temporarily but could not keep her; thus, PPR was asked to intervene. Very little was known about her at intake, but PPR discovered that she is a very sweet girl that gets along very well with other dogs and loves people. Luckily, she was pretty healthy at intake and really only needed to have her vaccines brought up-to-date, and microchipped and get her teeth cleaned. Soon after being listed for adoption she caught the eye of a retired nurse who is home most days. She had lost both a dog and a cat within the past year and has room in her heart for another loving pet. She still has an 8 year-old Yorkie mix, but felt that both she and her dog needed another companion, and she felt that Cleopatra would be the ideal choice. She has a fenced yard and a doggie door, but she still takes her dogs for several walks every day. Welcome home, Cleopatra!
