Richard and Jennifer have had dogs “continuously for over 20 years” and understand that they are “a lifetime commitment.” After grieving the loss of their beloved pooch, Mia, they decided they were ready to welcome another dog into their family. Their only requirement was that the adoptee get along with their two rescue cats, Silvio and KeekerBaby, who is blind. Petite and sweet Churro was slow to trust humans and needed someone to give her a little space and treat her with compassion. These experienced adopters were perfectly suited to the task. And as it turns out, Churro thinks felines are the cat’s meow. The three siblings get along nicely and can often be found keeping each other company. Churro is looking forward to going with her parents for Saturday lunch and joining them on their travels (post-COVID). Life is sugar and spice and everything nice for Churro!
