Cheeto is a Chihuahua mix that was abandoned in South Florida – his previous owners simply left him in the backyard when they moved. A Good Samaritan came to his rescue and asked PPR for help. At intake, Cheeto was estimated to be about 3 years old by PPR’s veterinary partners and weighed about 14 pounds; he was filthy dirty, covered in some type of sticky goo that took several baths to get it out. Fortunately, he’s a young dog so he was pretty healthy at intake but did not to have his vaccines brought up to date, to be neutered and microchipped and to have his teeth cleaned. It did not take long once he was listed for adoption on PPR’s website that he caught the attention of his adopters. This sweet couple have 2 rescued female pups and were looking for another small dog to add as a playmate; they saw Cheeto and knew right away that he would be the perfect fit! Welcome home, Cheeto!
