Cake is a senior French bulldog mix whose history is not clear, but is suspected that she was discarded by a disreputable breeder after being used for breeding. Upon intake she had parasites and inflamed ears, but was luckily heartworm negative. PPR took her into care, addressed all of her medical needs and soon placed her into foster care where she could recover and relax. Adopter Elizabeth and her fiancé, John, and Daughter, Ashley were looking for a companion for their Boston Terrier blend, Bo, and they knew from Cake’s online profile that she would fit their needs perfectly. So now Cake has settled in and is enjoying multiple daily walks and evening game nights with friends. Cake and Bo also have a doggie door to access their very own fenced back yard (supervised, of course). To top things off, Cake is enjoying visits from Cassie and Tyler, John’s sister and nephew, and their dog, Gingy. Cake never has to worry about being alone, there is always someone at home to get pets and cuddles from. Cake feels like is being spoiled and one can tell at a glance that Cake feels like she is in Paradise and is loving every minute with her new family. Welcome home, Cake!
