Biscuit was surrendered at a rural animal shelter; the shelter recognized Biscuit as a special pup and called PPR to ask for their assistance. He was generally in good shape and quickly placed into foster care. Adopters Lynnemarie and Francisco were looking for a special Christmas morning surprise for their children, the kids had been begging their parents to get a dog for years. Fortuitously, Biscuit was being fostered by a family friend; once Lynnemarie and Francisco met Biscuit, they knew he was the perfect pup for their family. So now, after being abandoned in a rural shelter, Biscuit, now known as Max, has a new home and a new family…a true Christmas miracle.
