Baby was a poster pooch for neglect. When we met this 14-year-old Pomeranian girl, she was in terrible shape. She was suffering from an infection, her blood levels showed classic signs of long-term mistreatment, she had a mass that needed to be excised and she was blind in both eyes. Thanks to the generosity of PPR’s donors, PPR was able to give her the extensive medical care she desperately needed. She was placed in a foster home where it soon became apparent that she was exhibiting symptoms of dementia. Due to her age and medical issues, she was designated as a permanent resident. As such, she will remain with her foster mom for the rest of her life while PPR continues to provide all veterinary services. Baby is a sensitive dog who does not react well to new people; fortunately, the one person she does love and trust is her foster/forever mom, Anna. Baby is experiencing joy and affection every day of her life. Anna will do everything to make sure she is comfortable and happy. Welcome home, Baby, you merit the very best!
