Poodle and Pooch Rescue takes in many senior dogs, disabled dogs, as well as dogs in need of urgent medical attention. These dogs face a much higher chance of euthanasia at shelters than younger, healthier dogs because of their unknown life expectancy and higher medical costs. At PPR, a dog in need is our specialty! Some of these pooches have medical conditions that can make an adoption difficult. These dogs become Permanent Residents and remain with a foster family to be spoiled and adored all while our rescue pays for their medical expenses. Some of our Permanent Residents are featured below with their loving foster families.
When nobody else cares, it’s up to us.
