Where Are They Now? Bonnie Pupdate

Where are they now? Bonnie edition! Bonnie came to Poodle & Pooch Rescue in 2016, at the age of six. She had gone blind three years earlier due to sudden acquired retinal degeneration syndrome (SARDS), a disease in dogs causing sudden blindness.

We recently received a sweet “Pupdate” from her forever family. Here’s what they had to say: “From day one, most people don’t realize she’s blind. I don’t think she realizes it! Bonnie is in the middle of the action and usually causing the action. She is our sweet, spunky blind girl who loves her prized Santa toy and cuddling at night. Bonnie spends every morning walking around the house with her favorite toy. She’s looking for the perfect hiding place from her fur siblings. Somehow her fur siblings know not to touch Santa. Through Bonnie, we also adopted Boomer, Earl and Lilly from Poodle & Pooch Rescue. Charlie and Niko round out her fur family. Bonnie is simply the best!”
