Simone Pupdate

Simone at her first water therapy session. Here’s what her foster mom has to say:

“The doctor said she needs therapy twice a week and we have some daily exercises to do at home too. She did have some stretching time and light therapy with the doctor today. Her spine and back are tender and sore so she’s on some meds to help keep her comfortable so we can do her exercises to gain strength.

She has a lot of muscle atrophy and her front legs are getting stiff from relying on them so much as opposed to her back legs. Long road ahead, but we’ll get there! She’s a tough little cookie and very food motivated so that helps.”

Simone has faced a lot of obstacles in her short life and she has overcome them all. We know this little one will meet any challenge head on, especially if there are treats involved.

Thank you for helping us save Simone – we couldn’t take on so many special needs pups without your support. 💕
