Meet a PPR new arrival, Vegas. Unfortunately Vegas did not come with the sort of gambler’s luck that you think might be attached to a name like his. Sitting at animal control with multiple injuries, he found himself in a dire situation before we stepped in to get him out of there. Vegas’ right hind-leg is broken and his right front leg needs to be amputated. We can fix his right hind-leg, but it will require complicated surgery with a specialist. His surgery will be costly, but we want to save his leg, so we will spare no expense.
Vegas’ recovery will include strict crate rest along with some physical therapy, weekly follow-ups to the specialist, and eventually some additional surgeries at one of our local veterinary partners. Vegas will be up for adoption after he heals and we can’t wait to see the lucky family he ends up with!
