Just a few weeks ago, Liam found himself homeless after his owner passed away. Surrendered by the family, he was left at animal control. As a senior, his chances were already not the best. Add to that an infected and painful mouth, adopters weren’t lining up to take on the cost of his extensive dental surgery.
When we heard that Liam was in need of rescue, we didn’t hesitate! Within hours, Liam was headed to one of our veterinary partners where he got the dental surgery he so desperately needed.
Afterwards, Liam made his way to a foster home. Things may have looked grim for him a week ago, but today he is loving life again. Liam took a special liking to the kids in his foster home – they make him feel young again. You can see the happiness and relief in this sweet boy’s face as he gets the second chance he so deserves.
