Chiquita was sitting at animal control, afraid and alone, she was unavailable for adoption and posted only for rescue organizations. She was cowering and shaking in her kennel, trying to nip anyone that tried to come near her. Who can blame her for acting a little defensive when she was scared in an unfamiliar place?

Made to feel safe, their true nature shines through and that’s exactly what happened with Chiquita! After just a few days in foster care, she snuggled up to her foster family for gentle pets. It turns out the dog that would not let people near her at animal control is quite the cuddler!
