Eight month old Katie had been living a nightmare: she was picked up as a stray by the local animal control agency and her skin rated as one of the worst cases the vetting team had ever seen. PPR took her into care and attended to her medical needs, most of which involved getting her skin condition under control. After lots of TLC her nightmare was finally over – she found herself at home with adopters Michael and Jeri, and their three teenagers, Skyler, Ella Rose and Madilynn. Katie is over-the-moon happy that this family has adopted her. She now has a secure fenced backyard to explore with Rosie, her new best fur-friend, and a Mom who works from home so she is never alone.
