Fleur was living in the streets and starving. She was so hungry she ate stones and twigs to stay alive. She came to PPR emaciated and suffering from an intestinal blockage. Emergency surgery saved her life; and with the support of her foster family, Fleur set out on a path to healing. Adopters Peggy and Carlos were captivated by her incredible story and wanted to meet her in person. Fleur approached them in her usual friendly manner, energetic and playful, with her tail happily wagging from one side to the other. Peggy and Carlos were sold; and with the full approval of their dog, Mason, Fleur was welcomed into the family! Now all of her dreams have come true, she is healthy, happy and loved by a family of her very own!
