Handsome Havanese boy Anton was not in the best of shape when he arrived into PPR care. His previous owner, who was a hoarder, had recently passed away and not kept up with Anton’s medical care; thus, he was smelly, had a serious ear infection and was in desperate need of dental care. Like many dogs from a hoarding background, Anton was a little anxious, especially in the clinical environment of a veterinarian’s office. PPR attended to all of his medical needs and placed him into foster care where he could get lots of TLC and have time to recuperate in a home setting. Adopters Doug and Jessica, and their two children met Anton and fell instantly in love. One of his parents works from home, so he’ll never be lonely or anxious; their kids will undoubtedly shower Bernard with love and affection. Anton, now known as Bernard, is home, where he can finally relax and enjoy being a cherished member of a family.
