For her first 10 years of life, Angel was kept outside in a kennel or in dark, sweltering and airless rooms. She was repeatedly bred and never received medical care or human kindness. After being rescued, her foster mom, Pam, nursed her through months of heartworm treatment and tended to her recovery from surgery. When it came time to list her for adoption, Pam realized that Angel was already right where she belonged. Angel, now named Sophie, is pleased as punch to have found her forever home. Her attentive mom is always nearby to provide love and care, and her fur brother (and PPR alum), Harley, is a dedicated and loyal sidekick. Angel never knew Life could be this splendid!
