Two years ago, adopters Melanie and Kim lost their beloved Greyhound, Ellie, to cancer. They decided they were ready to add another active and friendly dog that could accompany them when they go hiking. Mars came to PPR via an animal shelter, where he was terrified and had little chance of finding a forever home. The moment he left the shelter, he became a different dog. When Melanie and Kim met Mars, he stole their hearts. The handsome terrier blend fits their needs perfectly: he’s young, friendly and needs an active home.
